Frequently asked questions.
-
VictoryBase is for anyone looking for a great community to live in! VictoryBase communities are nested within, adjacent to, or near off-base neighborhoods. Although our marketing focuses on active-duty military members near military installations, we are open to anyone who qualifies.
-
EquityBase Payment is a marketing term that we use to describe two separate payments made by an EquityBase Investor as one aggregate amount. The two separate monthly payments are the Base Payment payable under a Base Agreement, plus the Equity Payment payable under a subscription agreement. Regardless of whether a VictoryBase Property resident elects to enter into a subscription agreement or an investor elects to enter into a Base Agreement, in neither case would there be any change to the rights, privileges, or responsibilities of the customer under the Base Agreement or the rights, privileges, or responsibilities of the investor under the subscription agreement.
-
An EquityBase Investor (EBI) is a marketing term we coined to describe the residents who live in a VictoryBase property and invest in the VictoryBase Corporation.
-
You do not legally own the home and your name is not associated with the title or any mortgages. Our business model allows you to become an investor in VictoryBase Corporation, which may or may not generate a return as we scale our operations across the country.
-
The residents and EquityBase Investors are expected to keep the home in quality condition. The resident and EquityBase Investor will be responsible for keeping the yard trimmed, ensuring the home is in good working order, and accomplishing preventative maintenance tasks such as changing filters, batteries, and light bulbs, as well as other simple issues. The company will provide a monthly checklist to follow in order to keep the home in good condition. You are not financially responsible for anticipated and routine maintenance costs such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or structural repairs.
-
VictoryBase provides tutorials on easy fixes for the home. We also realize some items may be more than “an easy fix”. In this case, VictoryBase has preferred vendors who can make the repairs simple and easy. The resident will use our tech to coordinate for all such repairs and make sure the job is well done.
-
The resident must notify the VictoryBase team through our mobile and/or web platform. That same platform will help guide the resident through the move-out process. The resident will be expected to leave the home in the same good condition in which it was received. In addition, the mobile and web platform will provide a guide to market the property to new and existing EquityBase Investors interested in living in that home. Through our mobile and web platform, the resident may then find a new VictoryBase home at the next place of residence, if applicable.
-
No, however, a resident or EquityBase Investor who is in good standing may continue living in a VictoryBase home and continue investing in VictoryBase Corporation.
